Released on 7 November 2008, Gears of War 2 has achieved critical acclaim. Set 6 months after the original, your mission is to battle with the large army of Locust that have begun drilling and operating underground. Gears of War 2 is as gruesome and violent as the first game. Modes include single player, co-operative play and multiplayer.

Gears on 18 January 2009Gears of War 2 is the best Xbox game I have played in ages - up there with Halo 3. I just wish the multiplayer was better.
